Huang Huoqing, a professor and Ph.D. supervisor, received his Ph.D. from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2009. From July 2009 to June 2020, he worked at the Institute of Feed Research, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Since July 2020, he has been serving at the Institute of Animal Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He won the honor of "Beijing City Science and Technology Rising Star", "Outstanding Young Agricultural Scientist", "Young Talents Cultivation Project", and "Young Top-notch Talent".
Research Area and Achievements
Prof. Huang has been working on the construction and industrialization of high-efficiency enzyme protein expression strains. He has successfully constructed more than 10 strains for the production of feed enzymes including protease, amylase, lipase, phytase, xylanase, mannase, glucose oxidase and catalase to industry leading levels. He has completed 28 technology transfers, published 37 SCI papers, obtained two licensed international patents, and won the first prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize of the China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award.
