The team is oriented towards people’s life and health, focusing on livestock production “quality and quantity” and livestock and poultry products nutrition and healthy consumption needs, mainly carry out safe and high-quality livestock and poultry meat and egg production technology innovation. The team has presided over more than 30 projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program of the “14th Five-Year Plan”, the Natural Science Foundation, and the Ministry of Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Supervision. They received 2 National Science and Technology Progress Awards, 2 Shen Nong Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology Awards, and 5 other provincial and ministerial awards. The team has 3 national and Beijing industrial technology system post scientists, 4 talents in agricultural research including agricultural science talents, young talents and outstanding talents.
