Pig genetic breeding science and technology innovation team is committed to breeding innovation and independent breeding of live. They carried out the “Thousands of pigs MOD program”, resolved the molecular mechanism for rib count, meat quality and other important traits, built a breeding platform of pig GS, and had intensive cooperation with domestic leading enterprises such as Tianbang, Mu Yuan, Great Northern Agriculture, Great Weijia, Xin Nong, Xiang Xin and ect. Meanwhile, they cultivated the breeding of new breeds of high-quality pigs such as Zhongguang Black Pig, and transfered new breeding materials of 18 million RMB. They have published more than 150 papers in MBE, GSE and other journals, granted more than 20 national invention patents and realized technology transformation of more than 10 million RMB. And they received one second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, and one second prize and one third prizes each of China Agricultural Science and Technology Award.
